This is the beginning of the summer. I am excited to be in eighth grade now. Being out of school drama and having a carefree summer is going to be great. Going back to check out how the kids in elementary school are, brings back the thoughts of when getting high was on a swing, when drama was when some little boy came up and stole your purple crayon, two faced people were people born with two heads and when spending time with your family was fun. I recently went on a trip to eastern Washington with my dad's side of the family and the whole time they argued, complained about not having cell phone service and none of my brothers were very happy. When we got home everybody went back to doing there normal things and i thought of how lucky i was to spend fathers day with my dad and not on my cell phone and i was thankful to have an actual toilet in the house. (RV toilets are no fun!) You never know how much time you've missed with somebody until your time is all gone. You have to learn from your mistakes in the past and be thankful for what you have. Help people in need and spend more time with family. I am like every other middle school student... Obsessed with texting, hanging out with friends, myspace, and having fun. But when i realize how much i love my family it makes me want to spend as much time as possible with them... They could easily be gone tomorrow.
